Newsletter

The May Newsletter that went out on Tuesday,

The mighty Dieu Du Ciel beers are now in stock and we have tried a couple and they are amazing (in our humble opinions). You now have a chance to tell us what you think too! Some new beer drove itself into our shop recently along with a new pack that has made it's way onto our shelves. And we have some beer deals on at the moment too.

Get into these beers, they are pretty good! Coupled with the Hitachino Nest beers and we have some world class beers available at the moment.

Moo Brew Vintage Stout giveaway
In anticipation of the Queen's Birthday Long Weekend in June, we are giving away five bottles of our more Regal beers (and easily the most expensive beer we have offered) the Moo Brew Vintage Stout. This beer is highly sought after and retails at $30 and is worth every cent.

This amazing beer is known as a Russian Imperial Stout. The beer of the Tzars was brewed for Her Royal Highness Catherine II of Russia after the batch she took back from backpacking through England in the 18th century went stale. Thrale’s Brewery of London set about the task of creating something to compliment her Eastern tastes, they made the stout a little hoppier and stronger and the Russian Imperial style was born.

For the next 5 weeks, The Adelaide Bier Shop will be giving away one bottle each week to the first person to order the 5 beers they feature on:

-Facebook
-Twitter
-Bier Shop Blog

Each of the 5 beers will be put on each website at the same time.

The beers will be put up on Wednesdays all at once, which will give you time to place your order on Thursday or Friday. All you have to do is loook out for the Moo Brew Offer, work how much of each beer you want and be the first to order! And it starts tomorrow!

Got an opinion?
We now have the Bier Shop Blog. Login and post a comment, we will regularly be posting reviews and offers.

The car that brought about a beer
The latest release from Adelaide's own Brewboys, the GT Lager is now available. Brewed to commemorate the iconic Holden GT, it even has 35.1 Bitterness units to honour the 351 motor.

New Pack
If you fancy yourself (or know someone that does) as a bit of a Beer Purist then the Beer Snob Pack is now available. It's packed full of some very good beers.

Beer Deals
We occassionally have beer that will go close to past it's best before date, but still drinks fine. We now have a 'Cheap Beer' option available when the beer has past it's best before date, so we offer it a little cheaper (which means great value for you). This month check out Bombardier and Bookbinder.

Get rewarded for your reviews
Your reviews are still coming in, but we are yet to reach the 100 mark (at the moment we have 84). To remind you what's up for grabs, the top reviewer receives a big bottle of Maudite (that's the 15th Anniversary edition) and the next top 5 reviewers will receive over $30 worth of glassware with their next order. To review, all you have to do is follow these simple steps...

Step 1: Login (you can't review a brew unless you are first logged in)
Step 2: Find the bier or cider you wish to review and start typing away.
That's it, pretty simple.
Note: By default, your full name and email address will appear as the author, you can choose to delete your email and/or last name or leave as is.

Cheers
Anton
